I feel great about finishing my watercolor-a-day project. It was difficult to see it through, but I did it, so I'm proud of myself. I've been taking a break in which I am cleaning and playing around with some small projects I've wanted to do for a long time. I'm waiting to be gripped by another inspiration and see where that takes me. Meanwhile, I am decoupage~ing a box with oak leaves and making a collage of ticket stubs from places that I've been around the world. The tickets are colorful with fantastic images and have wonderful place names like Stonehenge, Schloss Nymphenburg, that sort of thing. It's not strictly a collage, more like a glass-fronted shadow box. Actually, I'm not sure what it is. I'm still rummaging through memento boxes, looking for my tickets~~I never throw out a travel stub....
Other things I want to do are frame artwork, post art to sale at Etsy, make mead (I'm on day 5 of that), plant my greenhouse for the winter, pick & shell beans, dig potatoes and re-style my bedroom with a Boho vibe. As for the bedroom, I have it stripped down to a neutral and relatively bare palette and am beginning to make choices for items/colors/patterns to put in the space I cleared. Thank goodness for Pinterest!
